I am a grad student in Toronto Canada – soon to be moving back to New York City – which is where I am from – and where Eric currently lives and works. I am doing a PhD in Women’s Studies and find myself constantly having to explain what that is. But I ask you this, dear reader – if you don’t know what it is – then take all the stupid crap you have ever thought or heard about feminists or Women’s Studies and throw it out the window. Reading this blog will give you a fresh new idea about what it means to be socially and politically conscious in this incredible day in age.
